Sushi California is a traditional Japanese cuisine located in the heart of Connecticut, the Hartford County. With a large variety of choices ranging from sushi and sashimi to all types of udon noodles, Sushi California is a great place for people either wanting to try something new or returning to their well-known favorite flavors.

I started with generating ideas, looking through ideas that already existed online, and combining different ideas together. I looked through many menus, Japanese ones, regular ones, also at the types of menus, language used, font used, styles used and other factors.

Then, I put all the information, and all the ideas into 3 different groups, or themes. Each of them unique, different from the others.

I started working on 3 different styles for the menu based on the themes I have created earlier. I submitted them to the client, where he picked one of the three themes.

Lastly, I created the menu based on the client's choice, I created all the pages for the menu, and eventually started adjusting the design according to the requirements of the client, until all the problems have been resolved.
